Reservation

Reserve the sauna online and select your preferred date and time. We recommend allowing at least two hours for a relaxing sauna experience. You will receive your access code via email before your booking begins. Your confirmation email will also contain a link to the booking calendar so you can check if there is already a booking. If no one has booked before you, you will need to light the fire yourself. Fill the stove completely with logs right from the start. It will then take approximately 45 minutes to get hot enough. You are welcome to arrive 45-60 minutes before your scheduled time to light the fire. This time will not be charged. Before lighting the fire for the first time, please empty the ash pan under the firebox! An ash bucket is located outside.

Bring along

Don't forget to bring two towels, swimwear, flip-flops, and drinks. Please arrive already showered.

Location information

The keys are located in the key box next to the sauna entrance door (code in the confirmation email). A toilet (Kompotoi) is available exclusively for sauna guests.

During the sauna

Changing room

In the sauna's anteroom, you can change and store your personal belongings. Important: Do not leave anything in the sauna while using it (no plastic items).

Temperature

Our sauna is heated with a wood-burning stove and maintains a constant temperature between 80 and 90 degrees Celsius. You can regulate the humidity yourself by pouring water onto the sauna stones. Please remember to always place a towel underneath to protect the wood from perspiration. Important: Close the stove door.

Infusion water

You can take the water for the sauna infusions directly from the Nidau-Büren Canal. Please ensure that there are no natural materials such as leaves or wood in the water. We thank you for refilling the infusion bucket for the next guests. Important: Leave the infusion bucket on the ground and do not place it next to the stove.

After the sauna

Cooling-off

After your sauna session, you have several cooling-off options available. Cooling off in the Nidau-Büren Canal is at your own risk. Alternatively, you can relax and cool down in the fresh air in front of the sauna.

Clean-up

Your help in keeping the sauna clean is greatly appreciated. Please clean the floor with the provided mop, take all rubbish with you, and empty the foot bath. After your visit, please lock the door and place the key in the designated key box. Please also lock the key box afterwards.

Hygiene

Cleanliness is of utmost importance to us, therefore the sauna is regularly and thoroughly cleaned. Should you find that an extra cleaning is necessary, please inform us immediately.
